This time it's for Life

I'm Michelle. My highest weight was around 220, back in 1999. I lost 85 pounds between 2000-2001, and got down to 135. I kept that off for quite a few years, until I started taking a drug that caused me to gain a large amount of weight very quickly. I stopped liking myself for a few years, but now I'm back to caring about my health and working hard to lose the weight again.

My Goals:
I would like to be healthy and fit, at a healthy weight and with strong body and mind.

My final weight goal is 145-150 pounds, but I'll be happy with any healthy weight as long as I have the energy to do all the things I want to do in life.

My Program:
Right now I'm walking outside when the weather isn't bad, doing Wii Fit and finishing up my first Wii EA Sports Active 30-Day Challenge.

I have purchased resistance bands and am using those for strength training. I'm wishing for a set of barbells or a gym membership for Christmas!

Personal Information:
I live in Urbana, IL. I'm the sales/support/designer for a small web development company.

I have 2 smart, beautiful daughters.

Other Information:
I love reading, creating and looking at art, watching movies when I can.

I especially like mystery and horror genres, but will read just about anything that's put in front of me!

Ahhhh Michelle! I am sorry to hear that. I will pray things will work themselves out for you. Great job on the exercising. But you are right, the little calories and the more you burned working out, your body was hanging on to dear life for what it could fearing starvation mode. But we all go through that at times. Just try and keep your spirits up. I am here for ya!

Hi Michelle! How did your week go? Missed your posts! Hope you had a great week and one this week coming up. I met my first short term goal....which was to lose 25 lbs...I've lost 27.2 lbs so far. So excited! AND my daughter came to visit and she said she could tell I lost a lot in my stomach area....that is an awesome feeling when someone notices!!!
