Rob's journey to a healthy weight.
I have decided to be like an ocean going vessel. No matter how slow I go, I must never stop. In the end, I will never halt my progress on this journey to a healthy weight. I have decided to be like an ocean going vessel. No matter how slow I go, I must never stop. In the end, I will never halt my progress on this journey to a healthy weight. I know I will have breaks, detours, diversions, both planned and unplanned. But what will make the most difference this time is that I will never stop. Having gained and lost weight so many times. I finally realised my problem. Once I got to goal, I stopped applying my good and efficacious habits, and reverted back to old habits, then felt bad for doing so, and just gave up on sticking to my newly acquired habits altogether. Today, my mantra is Commitment. Finally after all this time, fully grasp the concept, that, whilst motivation may change from day to day, even hour by hour sometimes, My Commitment to stay the course must never waver. because therein lies success.

My Goals:
To commit to losing weight, being fitter and halting my slow but sure march to a diminished existence due to over eating . My strategy is through consistent,mindful, calorie control, and increased physical activity. As the weight gets less and less I will review my goals and tweak it as needed.
My Program:
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals. I am counting calories and tracking my food intake. I also incorporate exercise into my lifestyle change. As I get fitter I will add more challenging exercises. The goal is to be really fit up to the point of being an elite athlete, one step at a time.
