You can never get so far away from your goal weight that you cannot get to it.

There are some difficulties for me when it comes to success in losing weight. Hypothyroidism and insulin resistance would be the main two! And they create a strong barrier. It is easy to lose the initial weight for maybe 2 weeks and then it bounces back, in spite of continuing with reduced calories. I am taking levothyroxin...

My Goals:
I am aiming for:
Stronger mind, easier body. I will persist until I am wrinkly and slim.

Eat mostly from plant sources, but enjoy meat still. Minimise white foods including bread. Get healthy, get fitter and get energy.
Keep the hope alive. Be grateful for small and large mercies.



My Program:
Step counting.

Drink water frequently.

Keep myself happy, motivated and expectant by reading positive spark pages, coaching myself, doing the above and believing it will happen.

Personal Information:
Never have been thin so have no idea what it feels like.


Other Information:
Love reading...Lesley Pearse, Anita Shreve, Maeve Binchy, Jodi Picoult, Janet Evanovich! As well, I use audio novels from the library when driving - 700 km some weeks.

Vegetable growing is important to me. Fresh is best :) However this year no time for a garden.

We moved 3 years ago from Christchurch to Auckland. Tonight we are getting some light rain. I am so grateful. What about you? Any rain? I hope so. I am build for winter weather. Not long to go 10 weeks or so!

I am living in Auckland and it is very dry. I wish it will rain. Our lawn is dead and only the weeds are growing. I am sure the children are having a good time on the beaches. My plants are struggling a bit. Nice to meet you.
