I've made some major changes to my new life style. Counting points, counting calories or carbs or fat grams not only wasn't working it was making me miserable. About 1 month ago I decided to give up counting, weighing and measureing my food. I gave up telling myself when to eat, what to eat, and how much I could eat. I finally started listening to my body and letting my body dictate what when and how much. I also quit doing aerobics because of my knee issues and switched to doing strictly Oxycise. Oxycise is a 15 minute NO IMPACT exercise that changes your body using the power of Oxygen. Sounds kind of "fad like" but I assure you it works! For the last 30 days I've eaten soley based on my hunger levels. I let my body make the decisions and I did Oxycise for 15 minutes each and every day. I dropped 8 lbs. in the last 30 days. I am now doing Oxycise twice daily and continuing to let my body decide when, what and how much to eat. My body loves this and is responding so well! I'm quite certain a knee replacement is in my future and I want to lose as much weight as I can before that happens. As for my food journal I do log what I eat so I can look back if necessary for evaluation BUT I don't log calories or portion sizes.
