Loving Life

I have found at my age, (65) it is so hard to loose weight and keep it off. So after 1-1/2 years at a gym 3 day a week and not only loosing 9 lb only to gain it back and then some. I had a good talk with the Lord and He opened my eyes. He saw that I was now ready to do what it takes to loose the weight . I Thank Him daily for making me see. So now I work out 6 days a week, 90 min. 3 days a week at home, yoga and aerobics. 3 days at the gym strength training & aerobics it takes me about ...

From June 08 till now August 09 I have lost 70 lbs. Oh yes I count Calories 1200 to 1500 a day.

Don't let doubt stop you in your tracks. To keep doubts and doubters at bay, learn to celebrate the magnificent, shining part of you--even when life's storms momentarily eclipse its brilliance.

And finally, I want to acknowledge that making changes in your life is never an easy task. The key, however, is not to get caught up in the distance you have to go to get to where you want to be. Nor should you despair over the amount of control you have over your circumstances. Progress is made in the small, intentional steps, and chances are, you have more power than you think. By focusing on little steps you can take every day, the progress you make will motivate you to continue your journey, and eventually, you can go wherever you want to go. The important thing is simply to begin. ...Stephen Cherniske, M.S
