A goal for life

My high weight was 170, which made me borderline obese. I've decided never again. I will take this journey one pound at a time, and one pilates session at a time.

My Goals:
My current short term goal is to get down to 155 by August 1st. That puts me at a pound a week. If I lose more, great!


I'd like to get down to 130, and from there I'll reassess where I need to be.

My Program:
Right now I'm trying to cut out a lot of the eating out and unhealthy foods. I'm trying to minimize my intake of processed foods.

I've just taken up pilates, and I love it! I'm more likely to stick with this over other exercise plans.

my weekend was good :) insanity should definitely help with your lung capacity, i notice that i don't get winded nearly as easily as i used to after only two weeks. i did the actualy fit test for the second time tonight, i did a lot better! i am feeling a little tighter but don't see as much yet but my endurance is up for sure. i heard month two is where it really becomes noticeable.

THANK YOU for my beautiful flowers. I wish I could work out, but there is no way. I'm glad you reminded me that I need to rest and take it easy. I will definitely take it easy this week. Next week we are leaving for vacation in Istanbul. I'm sure I'll get some walking in, but I'm going to leave the DVD's at home.

i missed a workout this week so instead of having my rest day today i did pure cardio & cardio abs...feeling good now:) i have my second fit test tomorrow so i'll have to let you know how i do! how was your weekend?
