Starting over....AGAIN....June 1, 2016! I am happy to be back! I've really struggled over the past 2 years with staying on track. I moved to Washington in August 2014, weighing 179 the day I moved. Starting again on June 1st, I weighed in at 228. I gained 50 pounds in less than two years. I know I can get back an track and be healthy again.

I joined the Summer 5% Challenge! I'm excited for this new challenge and motivation.

My exercise goal for the challenge is to:
*walk/jog at least 20 minutes a day, four days a week
*complete at least one 10 min Spark video workout, six days a week
*join at least one class at the Y a week....(complete FitPath appointment at the Y first!!)

My Goals:
To become a MUCH healthier version of me =)
~ Lose 50 pounds
~ Quit smoking
~ Quit taking acid reflux medicine
~ RUN a 5K


My Program:
Update 6/1/16 ~~~ My goals have not changed! I've gained another 20 pounds or so while working a sedentary job and finishing graduate school. Now I've graduated and am determined to make some changes. My program right now consists of checking in on SparkPeople everyday and tracking as much of my food and drink as possible. Soon, I start really measuring and prepacking. I've joined the Summer 5% Challenge. I'm including kids in the healthy changes so we are getting healthier as a family!

I know I need to take babysteps because I have BIG goals.... I need to find my Fitbit lost in our most recent move. UPDATE: Found the Fitbit! Now need to find the darn charger...

I will spend at least 30 minutes a day on spiritual study.

I plan to enter fitness minutes AT LEAST five days a week.

I will eat something for breakfast every day, by 9am at the latest.

I will go back to tracking my food and calories daily.



Personal Information:
I turned 40 this year. This second half of my life will be so much healthier! Hubby and I have 3 teens and a tween living in the home with us. I am a reader, learner, and crocheter. I enjoy coloring, hanging out with the kids, sitting in nature, and laughing.


Other Information:
This year, I will stop smoking. I will eat a primarily plant based, whole food diet. I will keep learning. I will continue to develop my spiritual relationship with the universe.
