You know we go on in life and forget to make the little changes that are important. I am updating my goals and setting the pace for they year 2017. I noticed I had not updated it in a very long time. Doing much better these days...I am walking on my own and occasionally getting back on a horse that doesn't text my by gone skills. I miss fall and am now looking forward to going back home to Michigan to enjoy Spring and the coming of GREEN. The riverbed, creeks, and lake on the property here will be a wonderful site to see. I am missing the land, my dogs, and of course my family there. I plan to get some great walks in and a lot of exercising the old fashion way. Hard labor (of love) of course.

My Goals:
2017 Goals, dropping another 50lbs and putting my butt in the saddle more often. Eat healthier and follow a better schedule for sleeping and getting things done. I might hit that pool for some water aerobics.

My Program:
Eating better, working out more, and getting in some water aerobics.

Personal Information:
I love Horses of course, but I also love riding Motor Cycles...I own two of them. A Honda Shadow 750 and a Harley Davidson Custom Low Rider. I love to travel, I have been all over the world (well in quite a few places) including every state in the US except...Hawaii, Alaska, and California. I can see missing the two, but Cali how did I manage that. I was born here in Michigan but would love to discover my Irish roots and visit Ireland. I am drawn to the Celtic clans there and in Scotland. Someday very soon I will make the plans to go there and find information on the Sheehan's of Cork County. Maybe a distant cousin or two awaits me there. Maybe not!

Other Information:
I have 4 children all grown and 7 grand children ages 16 to 30 all of whom ride horses. We are a horse n around family. Almost everything we do involves in some way our passion for the Love of Horses!

Well, I suppose if I am to be nominated your Scottish Godfather (I take that as a compliment by the way) then we had best be friends too. I would disagree with you on one point (just one for the moment). Having read your profile and had a look around your page, I do think you are wrong to call yourself lazy..a wee bit lost at the moment perhaps, but not lazy.

As you also said, you are a tough old girl and will be back (eventually). Well, when you are I shall be ready with bucket loads of good 'honest to goodness' constructive criticism and encouragement. Until then here's a emoticon you will find the Fairy Dust at the end of it.

That by the way is the closest you will ever get to a platitude from your new Godfather.

Whatever you are doing, Have a great Weekend and If you can't get it glowing, then just keep the spark warm.

    Hello HYATTTI1!
So nice to meet you... would love to be a friend... I had surgery on my foot , had it done four times, before it was fixed... have a permanent plate with screws in my foot... was a long recovery... I taught myself how to knit and quilt (a little) While I was sitting around. It was a pretty hard experience to go through... it must have been really challenging to have both sides not working... I was in a wheel chair for a while... then crutches, and then a cane... now I use a walking stick to do my steps... You can start out slow... I marched around my living room for ten minutes, then I used 2 pound weights to do low level aerobics for ten minutes... I need to get back into it all.... Happy Easter!

    Hello There emoticon ,

Walking the dog..and you said you couldn't get started. Your blog was honest, very negative thoughts, but very honest ones and I admire honesty. I was also struck by the 'Force of Feeling' that was evident and if you can turn that to a positive momentum, then I can see you becoming the very vivacious looking lady pictured on the right again. I have read your profile and you have had some pretty major **** to contend with and I applaud you for that, but life was never meant to be easy. I also see that you have many spark friends, but if you really want to get 'Back on the Rails' and would like some honest accountability then I would be happy to offer my support, encouragement and when necessary honest criticism. This site is really great but sometimes the well meaning platitudes can be quite obstructive rather than helpful. As before Joanna the decision is yours to make, and whatever you decide, I wish you well. Hope you have a pleasant Easter.

I gather you are still in NV. Today looked like it wanted to rain here. How is it over there?
