Waiting for the change

I was laid up for over 5 years where I could not walk and sat around racking on the pounds.. After going through the replacement of both total knees I was ready to drop those unwanted pounds, but a car accident slowed me down. I loss the use of by right leg and foot. I am still recovering from that and in therapy three times a week. So at my age the pounds seem to not want to leave as easy as they came. All this happen two years ago...I am not much better off....but I am giving it a brand new ...

"You can do what you want to do, accomplish what you want to accomplish, attain any reasonable objective you may have in mind - not all of a sudden, perhaps not in one swift and sweeping act of achievement - but you can do it gradually, day by day and play by play, if you want to do it, if you work to do it, over a sufficiently long period of time."

Hi, yeah I thought we had friended a while back. I haven't been on the team as much a I shoud. Plus two other teams have started back up with next round and life gets in the way.
Hope you are feeling better. That sounds miserable. So much going around and going on now, almost afraid to go out of the house.
I have a friend on another team going to visit Ireland and Scotland. Boy wish I was going with her.
Take care.

Oh! That was so sweet of your family to go together and have that statue made for you! What a super nice gift!

Yes, we are going to get something for helping after he sells the house, but that is not the reason we did it, we did it just to help him because he is having a tough go of it right now, and this was just the icing on the cake. We had to help, no one else could. emoticon

Joanna, So glad that you had a great birthday! The statue is very impressive! Did hubby have it custom made for you? I know that it will stop traffic!

Our house is pretty much on hold right now, has been since July 22 as we have been helping a friend with his house. He leased it out with option to buy and the people tore it up. He had an estimate to fix of $35 to $40,000 and couldn't afford that, so my husband, who used to "fix houses" for a living, is doing the job. I am helping by painting, every surface in that house had to be repainted!

Hoping to finish up with this house this next week, and then, take some time off and get to work on our house. emoticon
