Thanks for the kettle balls! I went to the gym and was working with medicine balls with my trainer today. I told her about being given virtual kettle balls as a gift on SP. I had to explain SP to her and the concept of virtual gifts. I explained that it is using the food tracker and conversing with other vegans here that has been so helpful to these past 2 plus years!

Thanks for your comments on my page! I enjoyed reading your homepage and I wish you the best with all your goals, which all sound good! Especially glad to hear you're giving up smoking...your lungs are a precious gift...the wind beneath your wings....so always honor them for the lifegiving force they are (which is what you are doing!) My best to you. ---Terry

    Hi:

I saw a post of yours in "Living a vegan lifestyle" and decided to pop by your page.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU on giving up cigarettes!!
Every single minute/hour/day that you go without a cigarette is a major victory. emoticon emoticon
How long have you been a non-smoker?

I was a very heavy smoker (& extremely addicted!), and I made the decision to stop smoking....that was in April, 2004. Walking 1/8th mile was difficult because I was VERY short of breath.
I didn't want to live that way anymore.
I used the Nicoderm patch and received over the phone counseling from the American Cancer Society.

I am extremely grateful that I no longer smoke. I don't mind being short of breath now -- as long as it's from fast paced walking! emoticon

Wishing you and yours a peaceful evening,

    Denise
