Thanks for stopping by my page....

I have always been "heavy" for most of my teen and adult years. My highest weight, only 4 years ago was a whopping 270lbs. I decided to do something about it and joined Weight Watchers. I lost 33lbs in 2003 and then -- oops... discovered I was expecting a "late edition" to the family in 2004. [I guess that's what you get sometimes for losing weight - lol 0;))]. Of course with the pregnancy, I started to take things easy weight wise and although I didn't gain as much as my other pregnancies, that weight loss number dwindled down to only 17lbs lost since I first started. It took some time for me to get back into the game. 4 years later (June 2009) I decided that this is it - I HAVE to get my act together. I now have a 5 year old and want to be around as long as possible. I have since lost to where I exceeded my original WL totaling 42lbs down. Although I joined SP in 2007, I didn't use this amazing site as I should have, but suddenly in September 2009 it all "clicked" and here I am -- using the resources that is available and free to boot. I want to make the best of this opportunity and lifestyle change.

I have completed reading the book - "The Spark". What an amazing book with so much insight and information. I'm rereading the book and working the program such as working on my vision collage and setting my goals. So here goes:

Long-Term Goals:

1. To lose 70 lbs by December 31, 2010.
2. To improve my health and become fit so that I can live a long life and see my grandchildren one day.
3. To volunteer wherever I can when I can.

Intermediate Goals:

1. I would like to run a mile by June 2010.
2. Revisit health improvement progress.

Short-Term Goals:

1. Lose at least 5 lbs a month, if more then all the better.
2. Exercise 5 days a week doing aerobics and strength training 3 x week.
3. Measure weight loss progress 10% at a time.

1st 10% - target date 04/30/10

2nd 10% - target date 07/15/10

3rd 10% - target date 09/30/10

4th 10% - target date 12/15/10

I'm also working on my Vision Collage. Currently a W-I-P.

My Goals:
My goal weight for now is 155lbs
See goals broken down in the center of page but here is my daily targets:

Stay within my caloric range daily

Exercise at least 5 days a week doing cardio for 45 min each day
Strength train 30-45 min 3 x a week

My Program:
I eat within my caloric range daily by incorporating the 8 good health guidelines of the Weight Watchers program
Take a daily Vitamin
Drink 6-8 glasses of water/day
5 servings of fruit & veggies

Personal Information:
Married to my wonderful husband -- 23 years

3 beautiful children - girl (21)
2 boys (16 & 5)

Other Information:
