My Goals:
My goal is to lose 80 lbs as soon as possible.
Let my hair grow out but get it styled when I lose 1/2 my goal.
Get my teeth worked on so I can have my smile back.

My Program:
To meet my goals I guess I'm gonna start with the equipment I have at home.
I need to find a menu with real food that I can stick to without getting angry at everyone around me because I'm starving!

Welcome to SparkPeople!

One of your friends, BABAKAPUSTA (Linda) asked me to get in touch with you - and I am thrilled to do so!

As a new member to SparkPeople, there are a few things you will need to learn - like how to reach out to others. We are all in the same boat here - we all need each other to reach our goals.

When you leave a comment on your own page - only you will see it. To answer a comment someone else has left you, click on their picture or name to bring up their spark page and then leave your comment there. Not to worry - we all make this mistake in the beginning.

I leave my Nutrition Tracker open to the public - click on my picture and then when you get to my page, go up to the right top corner and click on "Shared Food & Fitness Tracker" and you will see that I eat only real foods. Sometimes I go overboard, but I count every calorie. You must track everything even when you don't stay in range. Until you see what you are eating, you cannot change it.

Start with Stage One of the Spark Program - go up to where it says My Trackers and click on Start - really look that page over and start doing the steps in Stage One. It all helped me to lose 90 lbs!

Hugs! You did it! You have a page. That is awesome! I'd love to be your buddy. I work and I'm not into texting. If you see my picture you will know I'm no spring chicken but it is fun.

Get yourself a pedometer. I have a fairly expensive one that sits in my pocket but I started with one that cost around $5.00. It got me hooked and then I put out the money for the higher end model.;jsess

This is a link to a government website. Some of us on the 10,000 step a day team are doing it. I started on July 1. So far I've logged in around 60 miles, most of it done by walking in place.

If you want to be my walking buddy we can form a team. Check it out. It shows you the places you've visited. I started in Jamestown.

You asked for a meal plan. I'm not diabetic but I went on that plan. I can cook the food for everyone in the family it is delicious and healthy and well balanced. The only difference is the amount you eat is measured. You are never hungry on this diet. It keeps your sugar balanced so you can eat snacks during the day.

How does a virtual buddy work? I would love to but when were you on here and I just got this tonight. I think it would be better if I were able to text someone and them me at the same time? I don't know.
