Ahhh, of course! Oxolates! I saw an interesting "program" for diluting kidney stones on You Tube (drinking mushy asparagus was part of the protocol). He was not amused as he didn't like asparagus - lol). My SIL's DH has kidney disease in his family and both of their kids have issues also. One has "Bright's Disease", the other kidney stones ... or now she's taking that back and saying it was a pinched nerve. Whatever! DH and SIL have high bp and SIL is far worse off for not taking her diet seriously (she's obese), nor exercising regularly. DH has changed his diet a LOT and we're hoping it matters. Anyway - I've read tons about oxolates, but forgot the greens, so thanks for reminding me. Actually, this is a post that might be interesting to those in our CD team ... wanna run with it and find some interesting stuff to share for us? :) (DH's mother had celiac btw!)
I've read where calcium absorption is best when Vitamin D is higher - if it's not, you'll likely not absorb it as well. Have you had your Vit D3 level tested? You'd want a number 50 or higher. Mine was 15! But I'm now at 39 with supplements (oil caps are best). didn't know if you knew.

We have a lot of bunnies in our yard - they like to eat my flowers :). That's a cute pic.
Re: your celiac test - I'm assuming they also tested blood for celiac then? It's KINDA unusual for them to do a biopsy first, then the blood (but was the case for me actually - just happened they were looking for something else). Have you looked into hyperparathyroidism? They'd test your parathyroid hormone (PTH), vit D and calcium for that. Tell me more about your not being able to eat greens for your kidneys (DH has high bp, and idiopathic kidney obstruction we're dealing with right now). I wasn't much help. What are your symptoms that you're dealing with still? I gotta pack for vacation - ttyl!
