Me on our first anniversary trip to Chicago
Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
Hi there, I am a mom, and I love it, but I never have kept off the baby weight I gained after having my kid, 7 years ago! Yikes. I've lost a good majority, twice now. As of December, 2009, I gained it back, plus a few.
I had set my sights at 130. I've changed that. My goal now is to get down to a reasonable goal (150) where I can be slender and still toned. I want to see how I like it there after I've maintained it for a year. God help me! I can do this.
My own will and desire has kept me from losing the weight. I accept that. I'm changing that. I'm going to control what I eat, and work out at least 4 times a week.
Get down to 150 by sticking to my calorie range and working out 4x/week.
-Eat between 1200 - 1550 calories/day
-Work out and burn at least 200 calories/ workout, 4x a week
-drink 8 glasses of water/day
-eat all my fruits/veggies
I'm a Christian, a mom, a wife, and more.
I want to be fit and trim and not have any "muffin-top."
I love God. I need God in everything. It is He who helps me succeed if I succeed anywhere. Anything good that comes out of me is by His grace alone.

I took a Spark pole yesterday about assessing where you're at on the journey and it said I'm preparing to start. Yeah, that's what I thought. I'm not "all in" at this point because I'm still struggling with regret over having gained back 35 pounds and discouragement because I just don't want to try again. I gotta say though, reading messages and encouragement from SparkPeople over the last week is helping me get ready to try. I'm feeling positive and hopeful today.
How are you doing? Are you still down about last weekend? It was probably that amazing tiramisu! :o) On Thursday night Brett and I went out to dinner with a couple who used to be our neighbors here. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert and both decided that yours was better! Brett said, "That's what we should have done! We should have brought back some of Hez's!" Then we rethought about that and decided it was MUCH better for our waist-lines not to have.

Thank you for the comment on my page. I was just reading your page and want to tell you that don't be afraid to try for 130 lbs. You can achieve it if you want to and not worry about the exercise you do or the healthy lifestyle you do. I feel OK but today I've been sleeping a lot. Everytime I started to do exercise I fell asleep again. I did manage to get my bike riding in and so did 50 min. of exercise compared to 90 I usually do. I will do more tomorrow because yesterday I wasn't able to exercise so I've had a day off already this week. Hope
