I'm Back at it AGAIN!

~UPDATE 10/1/13-Forgeting the past and focusing on my healthy future. Doing it all over again just means I have more to learn.

Then I decided to pull myself together and go back to school. I now work full time and go to school part time. I was binge eating everyday and never working out. I gained back all but 5lbs of my weight. This is very discouraging but I am a fighter and I will not give into my food addiction. I need to fix the problems that I mask by eating my feelings so I can finally get control of my eating. I have begun exercising and eating better. I know the healthy ways now I just need to put it into action. I need all of your support to acheive this.

~UPDATE 1/1/11~I am eating clean and loving it. I am at a healthy BMI and my goal is to see the 120's. I feel like I have the knowlege to eat healthy so now I just need to impliment that into my life. I slacked over the holidays but I am now back to training for my Triathlon. I will complete one this year. This year my goal is to work on creating healthy habits to replace my old unhealthy ones. I have two years left of my twenties and I plan on making them the best ones yet.

Hi my name is Holly. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children. I gained 70lbs with both of my pregnancies. I lost everything but 10lbs after having my fist child. While working full time and attending school I gained back 25lbs. I had no spare time and turned to fast food. I hated how I felt in my clothes so I decided to get serious about loosing weight. At that time I worked at a job were I was on my feet all day so I lost the weight easily by watching my portions and going to the gym three times a week. I got down to 140lbs and felt wonderful at that weight; I just needed to tone up a little. Next thing you know I was pregnant again.

While pregnant with my son I finished school and changed jobs. I sit at a desk all day now. I just can’t seem to lose the weight like I did before. I did the low carb diet and I lost 20lbs. I immediately gained it right back. I just can’t stick to it long term. I am back up to the weight I was right after having my son. I am completely frustrated.

4-18-09-Completed my fist 5k at 30min. I am running my second 5k on June 6th. I want to have finished better than 28:00. I have gotten a little off course but I am back on now.

Once agian here we go! I am completely working the Spark People program. I am not going on a diet, I am learning to live a healthy life.

3/1/10 UPDATE~ I am eating about 85% raw now. Eating raw is the best thing I have done for myself. I have a grip on eating now. I do not diet. Threre is no end to the way I am eating now. I eat to fuel my body and I enjoy the fresh fruits and veggies so it has been easy for me. I cheat when I need to. My only rule is if I am going to eat junk than I have to eat my veggies first.

I am trianing for a sprint triathlon-200 meter swim/10k bike/2.5k run.

I am running 3 miles 3 times a week and switching between elipticle, spinning, zumba, and stairmaster 4 days a week.

Working up to doing ST three times a week!

Good to hear from you...I am trying to be as honest with myself and own up to the weight that I have regained...I took an English class this spring semester to complete the requirements for a Creative Writing minor and it added more stress. So I am really trying to get focused on losing weight, hope we can stay focused on our goals in this May challenge and encourage each other.
