Just trying to stay healthy

Life as a working mom is full of challenges, most of which I wouldn't change for the world. But sometimes I'd like more time for myself. I exercise when I can. I've had some setbacks when it comes to running, and I fear I will never get back to where I was pre-pregnancy. But I'm definitely stronger in a lot of ways thanks to yoga, and of course to playing with my big, active toddler.

I also try to eat healthy (although I do have a sweet tooth), and have made a concerted effort ...

I also try to eat healthy (although I do have a sweet tooth), and have made a concerted effort to cook and eat more vegetables so I can set a good example for my family.

Just stopping by to say hi. I haven't checked out your page in awhile and I miss hearing from you on the Getting Fit Before Baby page (I'm still there as I'm still TTC #2).
Your son is adorable!

Oops, did I say a half next spring? I meant next year sometime lol. I ran a couple 5ks this summer with my son, but not much other running since I found out I was pregnant. No good reason why not, just empty excuses like "I'm too tired", "I'm too busy", etc. I used to run a 10min/mi pace, but I'm sure I'm much slower than that now, and who knows how far I can run at this point lol. BUT! I will get on the treadmill and see what happens. I started training for a half a few springs ago, too, but after the 8 mile mark I started HATING running, so I stopped. A training partner would really motivate me! Let's keep in touch!! (I'll have to post a pic of our Abby, oh, and I'm only 5'2" which is why you look so much thinner than I do at approx the same weight haha)

Thanks for the comments on Natalie's pictures. She seemed to really like Santa and wanted to rub his furry collar. I didn't know how she'd react so I was prepared for the worst. I fed her right before her appt time so that probably helped a lot. How are you? How's Graham? Is he seeing Santa this year?
