A Healthier Weight

My journey to lose weight & improve my health!

My biggest motivation is to be healthy for my family... my husband and our little girls. I want to be a mom who can chase after them on the playground and do all the fun stuff that right now I'm afraid I'll miss out on!

As several of my teams have new challenges starting up, I want to use those opportunities to really jump start and then maintain a journey to that healthier weight!

Short term:
Get under 250.

Long term:
Reach goal of 170. When I get there, I'll re-evaluate with my doctor's advice.

My Program:
It's funny that this has been here for years and I've never filled it in. I am going to start back on the diabetic-type diet that my doctor gave me right before I found out I was pregnant with Samantha. My body seemed to really like it. For exercise, I'm going to pick a DVD for the week and do it at least 4 times. I have so many DVDs at home that this could easily take me through September. And working at the library makes it easy to get more for free.

Holly, I hope you have the best week ever! I gave up fast food too plus whenever I eat out I lose 100 pts. So not worth it, tee hee. Maybe you could bring some apples in at work?
