My Goals:
I weigh the most I have ever weighed in my life! Right now my goal is to just recognize and begin to reign in my bad eating/health habits. Once I feel I am making progress in that arena then I will set my next goals - including fitness and weight loss.

My Program:
 To be determined. As this site says - I'm a work in progress.

Personal Information:
I live in beautiful Michigan. Am in a committed relationship of 2+ years. I am "grandma" to two beautiful kids and hopefully more to come!

Other Information:
 I am a singer - more classical than pop. Do love the torch songs!
Love to read, knit, cook (especially bake), am a true old movie fan (films prior to 1970).
Enjoy bike riding, long walks, fishing, being on or near the water.
Have two cats - Mavis and Annie - who allow me to work to keep them in kibble!

Since most of the 10,000+ people who joined when u did have long since QUIT and resolved to stay fat and out of shape, what you have accomplished is just fantastic! Now, make plans for your third year and how you will change your life.

Just checking out a couple of pages on some of my friend's and came upon yours. Love the fried egg cartoon and you're absolutely right you've got to laugh at least once a day.

The upcoming Mother’s Day provides a perfect opportunity to the women in my life. Have you ever noticed that women take care of others before they care for themselves? I am sure that this has something to do with biological functions, probably ingrained into our caring behaviors as children, but you need not have had a child to be a caring and loving woman and thus mother others!

Therefore, I wanted to express my appreciation for you in my life. Thank you for being you!

So often I meet women who say I am just a homemaker. Wow, that is a full time job in itself. Then I meet women who work one or two full time jobs, one being a homemaker, as well. It amazes me to see so many women who raise a family, cook, clean, and provide a shoulder to lean on . . . you are all SUPERWOMEN!! So I want to remind you to love how special you are to those around you. You are fantastic that you are balancing and juggling so many things at the same time. You are powerful and strong, you can become whatever you want, and you can say it with conviction!
