I'm 44 years young I come from a loving family no matter the occasion as long as food is involved we will come together. There is nothing like some southern cooking like baked macaroni & cheese, collard greens, pork ribs, fried chicken you name it I ate it. From now on I'm putting myself first! Not meaning to be selfish or anything but my health should come first. On occasion some family members have asked questions/statements, "you don't eat fried chicken any more?" or "You can eat so and so it won't hurt you." Simply put, I just say I've become more selective about my food choices. I'm working with a Nutritionist who is very proud of me for changing the way from which I used to eat. I'm proud of me too because March 9, 2009, I decided to limit meat and other unhealthy food items dramatically from my eating plan because of high blood pressure and cholesterol being out of wack. I promised myself that I will make the best food choices possible and to think before I eat. My life depends on what I eat! I've learned that no plan is 100% perfect.
