Just turned 62. For my health I need to lose weight. Have had a knee replacement. Have arthritis. Will retire to part time work April 1, 2009.

I have loved SP. Lost 32 pounds, than went off about a month ago. So, now, I am starting back. I have reset everything for me on the program.
I received my copy of The Spark book yesterday and it encourages me to get back on my program. After reading just the first two chapters, I think I finally get it. It was working for me before, but I was not being nearly specific enough in setting my goals. I see that I am doing a lot more planning this time.
So, follow me on my journey this year. My goal date is December 24, 2010.

December 31, 2011: I am getting back on this sensible way of getting healthy. I want to get off of meds for blood pressure, cholestrial. I have severe back problems and am having to use a walker to move around. Because of pain in left leg from pressure on nerve, I am also on lots of pain meds and having a terrible time moving around. So lets eat healthy, lose weight, be abkle to move around and enjoy life to the max!

I have 3 grown children, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. My daughter and I have a dog rescue/santuary with current count of 30 dogs.

I love reading, computers, cooking new recipes, almost all types of music (I love Willie Nelson), and animals.
