We've got to Move it, Move it!

I've reached the age of 54 with an extra 25 pounds (now - last year it was an extra 35 pounds). I have been struggling with weight loss this last few years due to a relapsing-remitting neurological disease that sometimes prevents me from working out. I get weak and lose what muscles I've built up and get to start all over again. I've been doing pretty good about maintaining my weight though so hopefully I'll eventually get down to my goal weight.

Thanks for all the encouragement ...

I am trying to not eat out as much as we have in the past. Will be cooking healthier.

My Program:
I've contacted a personal trainer and will hopefully be meeting with him next week to get a set exercise schedule going.

Will be making a weekly menu and making sure I have the ingredients needed on hand.

Personal Information:
I was raised in Phoenix, AZ but am currently in the San Diego area. VERY happy to no longer be in Phoenix! LOL

Love horses. Have owned horses for most of my life but can no longer ride.

Love to read.

Thanks for the SparkGoodie. :)

And the door that God opened was allowing us to find a place to board the horses for free board and hay! We are taking care of the barn, feeding and watering the horses (there's only 6 including ours), doing any maintenance if needed, like cutting up downed trees. So that's going to save us at least $350 a month! Woohoo!!

I'm doing okay weight wise. Maintaining this week, but hoping that the workout we did tonight will jump start me back. I lost 4 pounds last month. :) not too bad.

Thanks for the encouragement! You are quite the motivator, you're doing SO great!! Love you!!!!

Hi there! That sounds exciting to have a personal trainer come to the house. Hopefully he'll understand your personal circumstances and be able to create a program that can benefit both of you. Let me know how it goes!

Love you!! Remember that the number on the scale is just that - a number. It does not define you or make you who you are. You are doing a great job at maintaining with everything that goes on. :)

I'm doing good, I think I'll end up losing about 4 pounds this month. I don't know if it will be enough to win but that's okay. I think everyone has jumped back in and since they're essentially starting over I expect to see big numbers from most everyone. I hope that's the case anyways for their sake!

How are you doing? Have you checked out Made to Crave yet?
