thank you for your comment on my blog - we live in an amazingly beautiful area:-) and we appreciate it every single day.

i see you are enjoying hummus - if you make your own, you can actually indulge much more guilt free by limiting (or omitting) the oil. it's really easy and delicious. i also make a terrific chickpea soup - saute a bunch of garlic cloves chopped in a little bit of oil, add two cans of beans (i make my own, about 3 cups), and enough water to cover. simmer 5 minutes, then blend with an immersion (stick) blender or in an upright blender. add the juice of one lemon (or two, go crazy!), and add more water if the consistency is too thick. my son calls this "hummus in a soup bowl"); sometimes i spoon it on to a baked potato. and DH loves this soup!

Thanks for answer my questions, and yes, that is going to be my new food for November. Sound like something I could get into. Hey, what the new challenge you joined? I am looking for another on when I get the Find 10 challenge done.

Thanks for the info on humus, but what is it for, Protein? And what else can you use it for, it might be my new food of the month if I knew what to use it for. Linda

Thanks for the comment on my blog! I actually enjoyed the Jacobs Ladder - for 1 round of Tabata! :) I get a sick sense of enjoyment from the worst cardio machines, because I know how good they are for my waistline!
