HOPING FOR A REAL CHANGE

I've been on sparkpeople before, but realized I was treating it as another diet instead of a healthy balance. I would track my food and then binge at the end of the day. I haven't been great about tracking lately, but know that it helps me a ton so I'm planning to be on this site more often in the coming months.

Even though I've given goal weights for myself I'm going to try not to weigh myself too often if at all....

My Goals:
Through weight training, cardio and healthy eating I hope to meet these goals:

April 16: 145
May 1: 140
May 16: 135
June 16: 130
Just looking at that scares me a bit, but I know it is manageable...I've just been such a slow mover. I started out on sparkpeople a couple years ago at 176 and now am in the low 150s so I know that's good. I've been slowly developing better habits and have learned a lot about myself in the process.

My Program:
I have cut out processed foods from my diet and take supplements given to me by a holistic nutritionist. I also gave up coffee, eat organic, no dairy, no wheat, very little sugar.
Besides eating healthy, I try to get outside for jogs or long walks with my dog. Pretty simple, really.
And guess what? It's working!!! I eat plenty, am never hungry and am finding my energy level is increasing. I'm not perfect all the time, but that's part of the process.

I saw that too. Maybe they were thinking drum kit or bass or something that takes a little more oomph to play

I'm such a space cadet (and bad with names/faces). Yes, now I remember you! I was trying to reach back in my brain to IAA and I couldn't figure out why you looked so familiar. Where are you now?
