My Goals:
My goal is to get to 140 pounds; when is not so much on my mind. I have a long way to go and I want to focus on doing things in a healthy way, producing a downward trend with weight loss.

UPDATE: As of 06/16/12, I set a goal to lose 139 pounds in one year. This new goal was sparked by a visit to the BMV (blog called "It All Started with a Visit to the BMV" - dated 06/23/12). This, coupled with a desire to finally get my surgeries scheduled, has motivated me greatly. I realize that it's a lot to lose in one year, but it is something to shoot for!
*****10/13/12: Struggle, struggle, struggle, but not giving up!

My Program:
I have some hernias that will require surgery, but I am not letting them stop me! I work out for at least thirty minutes nearly every day, with strength training twice per week. It is the food part of the equation that is difficult for me, but I am working with the recommendations my SP tracker gives me.

Personal Information:
My name is Jackie and I live in northwest Ohio. I am married (twelve years!), work fulltime, and I have a nearly sixteen year old stepson. I also have three cats and four dogs!

Other Information:
I love to read, watch favorite TV shows and movies, and spend time with my family. I am a rabid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Columbus Blue Jackets fan, and Columbus Crew fan.

I love anything Monty Python, especially Holy Grail! I am also a fan of Doctor Who, MST 3K, Mythbusters, GRIMM, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Big Bang Theory, Whose Line Is It Anyway, etc. I also love documentaries.
