67 Ways SP Has Changed My Life.
I've seen a number of pages that list benefits of weight loss. I decided to create my own list of things that have changed since I joined SP. I've listed 32 things (one for each pound lost) and will continue to update as I go. 67. People are asking me how i "did it." I tell them SP! 66. We're going to bike the Katy Trail 65. When I say "run to the store" I sometimes mean it literally 60. I have a SPARK that is worth sharing and will help others who catch it. DOUBLE WOO HOO! 59. I can wear some of my daughters clothes! WOO HOO! 58. I can wear my husband's clothes-in fact, come of them are too big. 57. I haven't quit with a plateau. 56. I actually use running shoes for running! LOL 55. I've had my first ever sport injury-ok not so good, but I now believe it's better than aching from obesity and doing nothing. 54. I haven't quit with a failure-I just get back up and keep going. 53. I can run a mile in less than 12 minutes. 52. Ran my first 5K and have another one in a few weeks. 51. I need to buy a shorter slip. LOL! 50. I've hit my first big goal! I've lost 50 lbs in just under 6 months! 49. I find more joy in every day life. 48. I can out run my daughters, and future son-in-law! 47. I’m successfully juggling family, work, school and working out 46. I’m proud of myself-believe me this is really new to my life. 45. I’m laying to rest old ghosts 44. I am successfully consistent in my journey 43. I’m in my 2nd week of training for a 5K and can run 2.5 miles 42. I don't want to miss a single day of exercise. 41. My Goals:
My new goal - do chin ups! I'd like to lose weight, and gain enough confidence to dance. I want to run a 5K Race for the Cure and climb a rock wall!
My Program:
I'm doing strength training on M/W/F and Cardio T/Th/S. I'm getting between 1200 and 1500 calories daily and drinking GALLONS of water.
