Some day you walk the dog; some days the dog walks you.

Hi! I'm a 34 year old guy from Indiana whose usually routine involves sitting in front of a computer 12 to 16 hours a day. I have a bad sweet tooth and am an emotional eater, so I've put on quite a bit of weight. I'd like to start getting out more and start making healthier food choices. I'm starting slow, but going steady.

I started this journey on April 10th, 2011 and my ultimate goal is to lose 60 pounds by June 2012.

My username HomelessDog comes from the fact that I foster homeless dogs for a local no-kill shelter.

Thanks for asking about the mud run. It was great! It was very challenging but not impossible and I completely loved it and will continue to do it every year. I am a little banged up now but it was all worth it.
