I just want to be more healthy and make better choices in my life.

I have been overweight all my life and after my 2nd open heart surgery, it was a reality check. I know my first step is to loss weight. I keep thinking that before surgery I was on oxygen and did nothing but sit. I have come such a long way and I still have a long way to go but now I just don't want to do it alone. I am so thankful I found this site. I stay indoors a lot but hope that as I get a little more weight off I can change that. I will always have my underlining heart disease ...

My Goals:
I just want to be more healthy and make better choices. I know emotional eating is a big thing for me and that is where I need to start.

My Program:
I am very limited with my activity to the point that I may not be able to live alone much longer. Knee and back problem, a lot of weight gain and just not caring has really added up.

Personal Information:
My name is Karen and I live in East Tn. I had a mitral valve replacement June 2008. I was on oxygen and had to quit work (worked as a RN for 27 years). I am disabled now and just concentrating on losing weight and changing my eating habits. I used to say I never had the time to exercise and ate out a lot. Now I have no excuses.

Other Information:
My baby is a rescue chi mix. We rescued each other and she is the reason I get out of bed each day.

burpees do a squat reach forward put hands on the floor kick feet out into a plank position do a pushup then jump up and do it again . I have tried, I do the slowest one on the planet and it doesn't even look pretty . exercise is fun do what makes you happy and won't get you hurt. Have a great day
