Thanks for your comment on my blog. The first person to notice my weight loss (at about 30 lbs) was a 6 y.o. boy in a first grade class that I volunteer in twice a week.
He sees me 2x/wk. But, one day, he just said -- incredulously -- "You lost weight!" I smiled, and said, "Yeah; I did. Thank you." He asked, "Why?" I whsipered to him, "Because I thought I was too fat!" :-)
He looked at me with his big brown eyes and said, seriously,"No, you weren't."
Thanks for the blog comment. I am sorry to hear your best friend is moving. That can be tough. My bff (since high school) living more than 13 hours away. I was extremely sad when she first moved. Now we keep in touch via phone and internet and get together 1-2 times a year. It was quite an adjustment since we were once roommates and spent a ton of time together but we are adjusting. We have both made new friends but still have each other to lean on for support. I hope you and your friend are able to keep in touch often and see each other as often as possible! 1915 days ago
Just so you know - I haven't totally fallen off the bandwagon - just not doing stuff that I Know how to record for miles. I've been trying really hard to get this house done to get it on the market next week. But I've been making a workout out of everything that I can. When I set up the chairs and tables all by myself for the blue and gold banquet I was moving one chair at a time at a very fast pace and had my heartrate up for a good 45 minutes with that. Lifting things with my arms. Taking boxes up and down stairs I go as fast as I can and keep my abs tucked in really hard, scrubbing walls and painting I try and do squats when I have to go down, etc. So - I'm still doing stuff - just don't know how to record it for miles :) 1952 days ago
