I think you're right about the protein. DH and I have started trying to eliminate carbs at night, or at least decrease our serving size, and have mostly protein and veggies for dinner. I think if I stick to the protein at night, and make sure I'm getting enough whole grains/fiber throughout the day, that should help.
Just PLEASE let me know if you need support - I've been pumping at work now for 5 weeks, and it has definitely had its ups and downs! BUT, I've been able to give my LO breastmilk only and no formula, and she'll be four months in two weeks. And there's been other stressors in my life that has had effects on my supply, but if I can do this, so can you!!! There are a lot of tricks I've learned that I would be more than happy to pass along. A great website with a ton of info is kellymom.com. My goal is to wait to give her food until 6 months (unless the Ped. says otherwise), and I really want to breastfeed for at least a year (which should be easier once she starts eating food, I hope!).
