I'm 56 years old, married and diabetic. I work full time as a cardiac ICU nurse and you'd think that what I see would be motivating enough to encourage me to lose weight and improve my health. However... that's not how it has worked.

My Goals:
Short Term:
1. Plan my meals.
2. Track what I eat
3. Exercise 10 minutes at least 5 days this week.


My Program:
I have purchased a notebook for planning and tracking my meals. I've selected a 1500 cal diet plan with 20% protein, 60% carbohydrate and 20% unsaturated fats.
I've scheduled exercise times into my calender and set reminder alarms.

Other Information:
I love reading.. I read 2 to 3 books a month. My favorite authors include, Jodi Picoult, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Crichton, Fannie Flag, Seth Grahame-Smith. I enjoy swimming and photography.
