Hi there, I am 37 years old and I am having a hard time losing the baby weight after having my fourth child. Okay.......really I didn't gain 70 pounds with my fourth child it may have happened over the last 12 years. At my highest weight (after baby four) I weighed 225.
Heres the great news, June of 2006 I weighed in at 150, I was working out 5-6 times a week at gym and eating a pretty healthy low calorie diet.
Then in November of 2006 I headed back to work part time.........I now work the hours that I used to work out at the gym. Fast forward to April of 2007 and I weigh 170 lbs. and I am frustrated. My eating habits are horrible and my work outs are few and far between.

Fast forward again to December 2008 and I weigh 195 pounds. Time to buckle down and get healthy for summer and the rest of my life. Tired of the yo-yo cycle of losing and gaining.

Hit that fast foward button again to Jan 2011 and I am weighing in at 204! WTH!!

Here's to new beginnings and a long life due to being healthy and happy!!!!!

* learn eating habits to live with the rest of my life
* Goal weight of 150 by August 2011


My Program:
I love to exercise, so that is not the issue with me. My opportunities lay in my eating habits :( Eating healthy is my daily struggle. I have taken red meat out of my diet and eat lots more fruits and vegetables, but my struggle is the snacking, and the portion control. Once I get these things under control I will have an easier time controlling my weight. Life changes not dieting is my focus.

    Yay! I'm so glad to have met up with another step fanatic!! How many times a week do you get to a step class? I go 3 (Mon, Thurs, Sat) though my Saturday class is currently alternating with the WORST cardio class ever! It's practically Silver Sneakers! Then 2 other days for cardio/weights.
