I've attempted this before and had only marginal success. This time, I'm doing what it takes to reach my goals. I want to be healthy and feel good both inside and out.
To get to 130 pounds by my birthday on January 25th. That means I have to lose a pound a week. I also plan to improve my relationship with God, with my husband, and with other people, and generally become a better person. I also plan to improve my self-esteem and explore my talents.
I am recording my food intake and trying to keep within my calorie range. I also plan to exercise (Dance Dance Revolution) 3x a week, and strength train 2x a week.
I'm a 30-something, semi-newlywed from Nevada, and living in Arizona. I'm very blessed at this point in my life, and I want to take care of myself by losing that extra 10 pounds and changing my exercise & eating habits while I can.
Things I love: movies, eating, poetry, writing, reading, movies, DDR, Hailey Mills, classic disney, hiking, crocheting, my family, mediterranean food, organic food, cuddling, animals, my Heavenly Father.
I aspire to play guitar and mandolin in a band. My band, actually, but that's in the future...
Also: I'm in my 30s, I'm LDS, and I have a degree in Humanities & Library Science. My husband is planning to start a PhD next fall, so we'll probably be moving soon...
