Hello! I joined SP in July of 2006 to try to lose weight, and I lost about 15lbs before getting pregnant. After my daughter was born, I joined weight watchers and lost 45lbs before getting pregnant again. I now have a 3 year old daughter (born 7/07) and a 1 year old daughter (born 8/09) and about 35 more lbs on me. I am more motivated than ever to get my life in control.

I have struggled with my weight my whole life, but I am definitely my heaviest now and most out of shape after having babies. I did not gain too much weight during pregnancy, but somehow managed to gain plenty afterwards - go figure! Due to my hectic schedule, I put off losing weight over and over again (I'm the master of excuses )

I love Spark People, my new friends and Spark-teammates, and I know it will help me reach my goals, both short- and long-term. Thanks for the support!!

Be happy with how I look when I look in the mirror

Lose weight - a LOT of it, but start with small goals to keep motivated

Gain muscle tone - get back the more athletic shape I had during H.S. volleyball

Have more energy

Run the TC 10 mile in October 2010

Personal Information:
I'm originally from a small town in Minnesota, have lived in Rhode Island, Boston, and Chicago for the past few years and just recently moved back to Minnesota (but am living in the metro area now).

I have 2 beautiful daughters and an amazing husband.

I love to play volleyball, swim and watch hubby play soccer. I actually enjoy going to the gym and getting up early in the morning to achieve my fitness goals first thing in the day.

For leisure, I love to read, shop (shoes and handbags are my WEAKNESS) and relax on the beach at the lake with my family.

Other Information:
My favorite shows are Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, and What Not to Wear.
