The First Step Towards Getting Somewhere is to Decide That You Are Not Going to Stay Where You Are.

My first time around with Spark People motivated me to go back to school and lose 30lbs. Spark People also encouraged me to have more confidence in myself & go back to college (finally graduated May 2014). Although, I did gain back 12 pounds that I'd lost (over the 2 and a half year period while I was in school). I'm back now working on that again. My Goal is to Get down to 130lbs and maintain that for a lifetime of healthy living.

My Goals:
I would like to hike, run, and travel, bike & even SKI.. So how am I ever gonna pull that one off?

1. Short term Goal: Lose 8 pounds by December 25th=154

2. Short term Goal: Lose 15 pounds by February 14th=147

3. Short term Goal: Lose 24 pounds by May 1st=138

4. Long term Goal: Lose 32=130lbs by June 25th my 52nd Birthday Gift to me...

My Program:
Moving my body.. WALKING, WALKING, WALKING eating more whole natural foods and less and less pre-preparred foods. Drinking WATER! Taking vitamins.. & NO COFFEE..

Working on Art work, playing my guitar.. getting out there and living life.

emoticon Jane and emoticon for the message on my Spark page. Things are going ok with me although I'm struggling with my weight. Keep meaning to write blogs but haven't got round to it yet. I did indeed complete the Poppy Run at Battersea which was really good, although I'm more of a walker than a runner.
