The First Step Towards Getting Somewhere is to Decide That You Are Not Going to Stay Where You Are.

My first time around with Spark People motivated me to go back to school and lose 30lbs. Spark People also encouraged me to have more confidence in myself & go back to college (finally graduated May 2014). Although, I did gain back 12 pounds that I'd lost (over the 2 and a half year period while I was in school). I'm back now working on that again. My Goal is to Get down to 125lbs and maintain that for a lifetime of healthy living.

Thanks for the blog comments! I'm sure you can find a way to keep the stress down (and the sleep up!) when you go back to school! I think you are right on not weighing daily during a weight loss phase. I find during maintenance it's helpful (especially with using a weight tracker site, I use weightgrapher.com) to weigh daily, the trick is to not let the number affect mood or behavior, good or bad.
