Don't ever worry about being MIA for any amount of time, as long as you are still taking care of yourself!! So glad you are back and making it count as "the first day of the rest of your life!" You CAN do it!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks for the comment on my page. I love the picture of you hiking on your page. My favorite pastime although since I had a stroke I can't go near as far as I used to. But nature is still my favorite place and I try to get there frequently. Before I moved to Texas (where it is flat so many places) I lived in southern New Mexico on the edge of the Gila National Forest (a year ago until the stroke) and I loved it! I hiked so many of the trails there so many times. It is nippy here again this morning! We had rain from about midnight until 7 am, which we badly needed. Not it's still cloudy, a little windy, and only supposed to get to about 65 today but mid 80's later in the week. Last week we had some days in the low 90s so it's been all over the place! I think fall is here and then summer is back! Have a great day today!
Hi Jane - Appreciate your friendship. I have also been gone for awhile. My husband broke his shoulder June 16 which put a lot of work on my plate. I have been doing fine but my plate has been full. Hope all is well with you.
Hi Jane, thanks for your comment. Bonnie is just under a year old, full of energy, and as you say, very smart! Certainly does encourage me to keep moving too! Not surprised you fell in love with your friend's border collie.
Sounds as if you're in a similar position to me - I've been working abroad for a while, then struggled to get back into things, then a week's holiday, etc etc, so I've also been gone for a while... But so nice to get back and get on track with things again, isn't it? Good luck with your plans and thanks to you too for being my friend
