I found SparkPeople in October 06. During the Fast Break I made a couple changes and got addicted to obtaining points. It wasn't a long lasting change.
Now, I am happy SP is a place I keep coming back to, and seemingly in a better spot each time.
Currently, I'm focusing on the fundamentals, eating lots of veggies, drinking lots of water, going to bed early, getting off the screens and getting active daily. I've never felt more nourished and rested.
The truth is that losing weight is a simple process but difficult to maintain. SP helps to keep your focus and combat the everyday challenges and cravings.
To be healthy, active, a good role model for my children and husband and to appreciate the beauty of me in any shape or size.
I would like to commit to even a small amount of activity daily and step it up a few times per week.
I'm in Western MA, happily married to my high school sweetheart, Jim, the mother of a happy little girl, Syna, and boy, Page, and dog friends, Liam and Gilly.
I am a vegetarian and plan on eating more raw, living foods.
