So long 50 pounds

Since turning 40 ten years ago, each year a few (3 - 8) pounds have taken up residency on my body. This year they are being evicted. Now that I am 50, there are a lot of extra pounds - almost 50 of them. I am fine with being 50, just not fine with 50 extra pounds.

Hi and welcome to Sparkpeople site. This is a great place for info, encouragement, support and motivation on the journey to a healthier lifestyle. I see that you have joined some teams. That is great. It is an added support system. Post regularly on the teams and do challenges, etc. Reduce food intake (make healthy food choices), get plenty of water and exercise. Start with baby steps if necessary, but, start. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
