Greetings, and welcome to my Sparkpage.

I am in my fourth year of SparkPeople, and I have learned a lot about myself. Unfortunately, none of that has resulted in any physical weightloss. Mental baggage? Well, that's another story.

Right now, I'm focusing on getting out of destructive thought and behavioral patterns, and basically becoming "master of my fate and captain of my soul." And fitting into some smaller jeans at some point, because I'm tired of wearing ...

My Goals:
1. To be able to bike long distances without dying.
2. To live long enough to be a terror to the senior citizens' community.

4. Get back to "Onederland", and go from there. One crisis at a time, kids.

My Program:
1. Track the food.
2. Exercise
3. Strength training 2x a week minimum
4. Movement as anesthesia instead of food

Personal Information:
My house is in the Republic of Texas, but I mostly reside in the State of Denial, with a summer cabin in the State of Angst. I'm working on moving out, but there seems to be a whole lot more baggage than I anticipated.

Other Information:
I'm fulfilling my childhood dream of taking piano lessons and playing the piano. So far so good.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I hope you don't mind that I have friended you. We both have been at SP for awhile, learning a lot as we go, and both do yoga. I do Kundalini from dvd but the restorative sounds wonderful, too. (I modify a lot of yoga poses.) Have an awesome day!
