Missy's Ongoing Weight Loss Adventures

I love reading the Success Stories in Shape and on SparkPeople. But I'm sick of reading other people's success stories. I'm ready to be my own Success Story.

I like presents...a lot. I plan to gift myself for each weight loss goal I achieve. They sound delightfully pampering:

10 lbs (from 294 lbs): Sparkpeople tshirt (earned 10/13)
20 lbs: Manicure
30 lbs: Pedicure
40 lbs: New workout shoes
50 lbs: Massage
60 lbs: session with ...

My Goals:
I want to be healthy and fit again. I want to be able to run and play with my kids, run up the stairs, ride a roller coaster, sit in a movie theater...and be comfortable and feel good about myself. I want to enjoy my body again.

My Program:
Making small changes to my life. Adding a little more movement each day. Paying attention to what I put in my body.

Personal Information:
I am a wife, working mom, and goddess living in lovely northern Kentucky (grin.)

Other Information:
Social to a fault, I love to talk. I love reading everything, from books to blogs. I have an unnatural attachment to my camera, I like to think of myself as arty (with no artistic talent), and sooner or later I'd like to learn to: knit and/or crochet something besides a scarf, tap dance, fence, and grow a garden without killing it. Not in that order.
