After a life long struggle with my weight, I am finally losing some of these dreaded pounds! I have learned that my mother (love her dearly) has passed down some horrific eating habits, and I've been slowly correcting them. (Who knew you could crave vegetables?!)
I got a jumpstart with my "pregnancy diet." After giving birth to my son, I was 22 lbs lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight. Changing my eating habits (and breastfeeding) helped me loose another 19 lbs.

My Goals:
I have two goals right off the bat: I need to control my portion size, and get moving more!

My Program:
8/23 - just started using this website to hold myself accountable.
8/30/08 - found out I was pregnant. Didn't really know what sort of calorie count to aim for, stopped counting!
1/22/09 - dropped in to check in. planning on sparking it up in may, once baby is born.
8/5/09 - lost 33 lbs after the birth of my son in April
9/27/10 - gah! Gained it all back :( Try to get serious again!

Personal Information:
I'm 24 & a married momma of 1 (for now). I work doing data analysis for health care research.

Other Information:
I enjoy reading non-fiction, mostly memoirs. I enjoy a good cup of coffee (decaf at the moment) and I'm having fun getting to know my boy. I enjoy Frisbee and racquetball, but don't know anyone with whom to play!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I have four children and they keep me busy! With my first and second pregnancy, I found that walking a lot while pregnant kept my legs toned and helped me bounce back afterward. I was "too busy" to stay in shape during my third and fourth pregnancy and now I am trying to get rid of that extra weight.......six years later! Good luck with all of your adventures in life!
