For all those Bridesmaid's Dresses...

Thanks for stumbling across my SparkPage! I am a (very - like December) recent college grad who decided to move back to the nest for a while. I hate the word 'struggle', but my weight/body image has always been a 'struggle' for me -- not so much a struggle as a 'refusing to look in the mirror & at pictures" type of deal. Thanks for stumbling across my SparkPage! I am a (very - like December) recent college grad who decided to move back to the nest for a while. I hate the word 'struggle', but my weight/body image has always been a 'struggle' for me -- not so much a struggle as a 'refusing to look in the mirror & at pictures" type of deal. In March 2009, finally fed up with the Freshman 30 (but really) that i'd gained, I joined a popular online weight loss program & over the next two years, lost 50+ pounds. Looking and feeling great, I entered my very LAST semester of college (Nursing School - hey, stress) and about 10 pounds creeped back on.

So, here I am - - I took a 10 pound step back. NO WORRIES, though. I never 'officially' reached my goal weight of 135 with the other program, but I felt SO good & looked good that I decided that maybe I was one of those woman who just wasn't destined to be 135 - something I am totally ok with. Im in my early 20's and the "bridesmaid" stage of my life is in FULL swing. I want to look good in ever-lasting pictures & maybe even in my own wedding dress (soon, but not too!).

My goal is to lose a minimum of 10-12 pounds before the next wedding i'm attending -- April 14th. It CAN be done (because let's face it....it has to be!)

Wanna know more? I'm from the Deep South & love it, will monogram almost anything, spend too much time (well, not to me) cooking with my handsome boyfriend, adore gaining my Nana's cooking skills through weekly cooking sessions, and live securely under my parent's roof - with no intentions of moving for QUITE some time. Bad, right?
