I'm a 43 year old female. Married for 13 years to a wonderful man and have a 23 year old daughter. My hobbies are crochet, cross stitch, crafts and my home. I'm a 43 year old female. Married for 13 years to a wonderful man and have a 23 year old daughter. My hobbies are crochet, cross stitch, crafts and my home. I've been diagnosed with fibro for over 10 years now. I also suffer from mild depression. I've been a yoyo dieter for all my life. The diets i've been on were unhealthy diets and none of them worked. I would gain more weight once I quit the diet. Yuk. My husband accepts me just the way I am. He thinks I am beautiful in every way. :) I weigh now 247 lbs. and I don't enjoy what I see when I look at myself in the mirror and I am ready to make that change. The healthy way. I want to learn how to make a life style change in my eating habits and my exercising. I know that beauty is inside a person and not their body size and I am a good person but I also want to live healthy. I want to be able to enjoy the life that god gave me. I want to be able to live a life with my husband, my daughter and every other living thing that god made. With my health declining and being border line diabetic I need to make a life style change now. I WANT TO DO THIS FOR ME, NO ONE ELSE. I am looking for spark buddies so we can help motivate each other through our life change jouney. I am also looking for the ones that had success on spark people. Maybe you can help guide me with tips and stories of how you made the lifestyle change and how it has help you.

My Goals:
My goals are to lose 100 lbs and to eat healthy so I will have a healthier life. I also want to be able to walk 10000 steps. I want to be able to exercise more and make it part of my everyday life.
My Program:
I'm tracking my food in the nutrition tracker, trying to keep it in my range. I am also tracking my fitness in the fitness tracker. Fitness is still real hard for me but I'm not giving up. I ask for support from my sp friends. I constantly read the articles about nutrition that helps alot. The articles teach me things I did not know and refreshes my memory about other things.
