Trying to find my way back to the real me!

I am back to SP with a new name & new motivation. The last time I was here I was known as Jogibbie, now I'm going to live the High on life hence the new name!
I am a wife, a mother & a nursing assistant. I somewhere along the line forgot that I am also a person that needs attention. I tend to comfort & take care of everyone else & let myself go; hence the extra 40 lbs and bad self image!

For the first time in my life I have made short term goals also that way I will have something to keep me motivated later on. I always seem to lose motivation after a couple of months. B/c I have a all or nothing mentality, and it seem to work it wonder on me and I fall off the wagon. I have the slow and steady wins the race mentality this time. I want to lose my 45lbs for my July b-day. Which equals an average of 6 lbs. per month. I think that is a very doable! I will just take it 1day at a time!
I will be buying and enjoying a new swimsuit on the beach for my July b-day!

I am just trying to do an overall healthy eating plan. No radical or fad dieting anymore for me they don't last forever & that is what I want.

Some of my favorite things to do are: crafts, reading, hiking, horseback riding, gardening, yoga, and hanging out with friends & family

Happy Sunday-
Sorry to hear that you mother stressed you out so much. Family what can you do. I spent the weekend working in the yard, cleaning house and running errands. I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow to get some rest. LOL Next weekend my husband and I are going out of town to celebrate our anniversary. Hope you have a wonderful week.

I've been okay, staying busy to stay out of the house. I saw about the accident, I'm glad Codie was okay. A little ice cream cake should have been a welcome treat, just a small something to feel better. I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you now.
