My Goals:
Get to high school weight - stay active-eat less sugar-gain energy-be a good physically fit example for my kids

My Program:
I want to stay between 1200-1500 a day. I always see myself start gaining if I don't log in my calories on Sparkpeople!! I have to track every day to keep consistent. I walk 5 times a week with my dog and strength-train/work out 1-2 times a week. I try to swim once a week and bicycle in the summer.

Personal Information:
I have two young kids. I really try to teach them about food - not necessarily about calories, but nutrients, fats, vitamins and fiber in each food, etc. I want them to be informed. I want them to enjoy treats but also love whole grains and veggies. I really enjoy eating healthy food. Once you do, the real greasy stuff doesn't hold as much allure. Doesn't mean I still don't eat it - but I feel yucky afterwards!! You can make slight adjustments to recipes making them healthier - you don't have to eat like a bird.
