I want to be me again!

4 years ago I weighed 128 pds.. Then my parents died 6 months of each other. My mom was the shocker. She had cancer, and didn't tell anyone. For my dad, his passing was a blessing. I started eating like crazy. Sweets are the speciality. I haven't been able to stop snacking. I found this site by accident, and since I have been wanting to lose weight, I decided to join SparkPeople. Time to get back to where I was, or at least close to it!

My Program:
 Walk my dogs everyday.
Ride my horses.

Dance to music.
Use my air bike, and cardio fit.
Works out with weights.


Personal Information:
I grew up in So. Calif. I now live in the high desert among the lizards and coyote's. When I go for walks I just love to see the Red Tail Hawks flying around. Such a beautiful bird!

Other Information:
 I am proud to say that I am related to Wild Bill Hickok. Anyone out there that loves the wild west history? I also admire Annie Oakley. What a lady for in that time period!

Thanks for commenting on my photo gallery. You were right. I didn't have any photos of my dogs. I have rectified that oversight. I now have photos of my Beagle an Newfoundland on my Sparkpage.

Thank you for stopping by my page. I can't believe how diverse this group is. Some of us have tons of weight to lose and others just a few pounds. The bottom line is somehow life got out of control and we used food to help control it. My heart goes out to your recent sorrow but you are obviously a woman of courage.
I hope to see more of you though I am not sure about the cat thing! Just kidding, love all creatures. emoticon

I was reading your comment you left on Becky's Spark Page and then read her page and found out we live in the same town. Hopefully we can meet someday.

I left some really BIG HINTS for Santa to stop by Pier 1 and pick up a selection for me. I think I might get lucky!
