I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for Diet/Fitness/Nutrition Information. I watched a video about it and decided to join. I plan to spend some time looking around and want to begin some kind of diet/fitness/weight loss plan this week ... probably the day after Labor Day (2008).

I have set/reset my goals here several times - I have had successes and setbacks ... but this site seems to keep me 'on track' ~ even if I 'stray' every now and again. I actually have lost 25 pounds with the help of SparkPeople ... but, as 2016 begins - I I find that I REALLY need to refocus to reach my goal once again!

January 2, 2016 marks the start of another 5% Challenge (with the Firecracker Team, of course). I'm excited to get back on track~AGAIN. I NEED the Challenge and the motivation/energy/support that active/caring groups provide.

My Goals:
I started here in September, 2008 with a goal to get into shape and lose 24-25 lbs. I've achieved my goal in the past, but didn't pay attention all the time and I need to get back to and re-focus on that first goal (getting there and sticking to it).

My main goal is to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Healthy, sensible eating and exercise is exactly what is needed!


My Program:
In 2010, I found the 5% Challenges. These Challenges, along with some common sense eating/exercising are some of the things that have helped me most on this journey to create a 'healthier' me.

It is now the beginning of 2016 and the 5% Challenges are still a part of my SparkLife. I love the Challenges and plan to contine them as long as I'm a SP member.

~I love theatre, especially musical theatre.
