I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for Diet/Fitness/Nutrition Information. I watched a video about it and decided to join. I plan to spend some time looking around and want to begin some kind of diet/fitness/weight loss plan this week ... probably the day after Labor Day (2008).

So - today ... as I celebrate my 5 year SparkVersary, I want to recommit myself to a healthier weight, healthier BMI and healthier lifestyle. Wish me luck!!!

My Goals:
I started here in September, 2008 with a goal to get into shape and lose 24 lbs by Christmas. I was at 20 lbs...but got a little off track.

Getting back on track now and I'm looking forward to starting/completing the new Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Bootcamp.

Update: 7/15/09: I never did do the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Bootcamp ... but - this week, I begun to get back on track. I have walked every day since last Thursday - and I am once again beginning to look forward to my walks with my daughter and the dog! Small steps is what everyone says here, right - I'm taking it one small step at a time.

My Program:
In 2010, I found the 5% Challenge. Although I've always gotten to within a pound or two of my original goal - I never actually made it, but ... this group is so wonderful, active and supportive - that I now LOVE coming here and it tends to keep me motivated. I'll get to my goal - eventually ... in the meantime, I just love being part of a great group!

Other Information:
My favorite thing to do is be with and take care of my family. I work at hospital foundation. I was VP of our local Women's Club from 2007-2009. Oh - yeah...I also like to play on Neopets!!!
