Living Healthy: Before and After I Do

I'm in my early 20's and am engaged to be married on March 17, 2013. Getting married has put the fire under my butt I needed to get back in shape and into a healthy life style. I used to have a spark page a few years ago and I lost a total of nearly 70lbs, but then gained about 25lbs back after I stopped sparking. I've been trying for the last month with no success. I need to bring spark back into my life!

My Goals:
1) Live a more active life style- Starting now through the day I day.
2) Be able to do full sets of real push ups (not girl push-ups)- by the end of November
3) Run a 10 minute mile-by the end of January
4) Loose 20lbs and or 5 inches at my waist- by March 17


My Program:
1) Eat 1200-1500 Calories a day Average
2) Exercise 5x a week for 15-45 minutes
3) Drink at least 64oz of water a day
4) Weigh my self bi-weekly (Saturday AM and Monday AM) to keep on track
5) Be active on SP to support others and maintain motivation

Personal Information:
I'm from Indy, you know the place with all the racing and we hosted the Super Bowl last year. After I get married, I'll be moving to Italy, where my fiance is currently posted.

Other Information:

Hi, Welcome to the Cloverleaf team for the Fall 2012 5% Challenge! Seasons change...people can too. Let's make the commitment to make a 5% change in our body fat for the coming season. Wouldn't it be great to be 5% thinner by winter? We can do it!

Thanks for the support and encouragement. Now that I've been diagnosed, so many things that I thought weren't related, are all of a sudden making sense. It's good know what it is (even if "they" don't know how it starts), and ways to combat it.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I know that slow and steady is the way to go. But sometimes it feels like its too slow. Like when you hit a plateau.

Thanks so much for the encouragement. I know what it's like to lose weight and then gain so much back (in my case I lost 25 and gained about twice as much back!). It's hard to find that motivation, but now that I've found my motivation, I'm hoping to never lose it.
Find what keeps you going and never lose sight of it. And I would love some vegetarian recipes, I "cooked" my first veggie meal last week: Boca burgers with homemade butternut squash fries (baked, not fried). We both loved it, but that's the limit of my vegetarian cooking. lol. And I'm not sure I would count the Boca burgers.
