I'm a 41 year-old woman who has struggled with weight for my entire adulthood. I'm looking forward to the journey ahead. Becoming healthy has become a top priority in my life. I'm ready to live life to it's fullest!

My Goals:
I would LOVE to be at a 'normal' weight again and have the energy of a teenager. A secret dream of mine is to run a 1/2 marathon.

My Program:
I am currently using Sparkpeople to monitor my goals and workout doing cardio and weight training 3-5 times per week for 45 minutes per session. I have been building up my running and currently can run a distance of 1.1 miles and do a 13.10 mile.

Personal Information:
I live in northern Michigan, have an AWSOME husband and three grown boys (all in their 20's). I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in Biology and work as a Rehabilitation Technician. I currently hold an A.S. in Science in Biology.

Other Information:
I am an essentiallly happy person who tries to stay positive in tough times. One of my favorite sayings is, "When faced with a choice...choose happy."

Thanks for the add. I'm trying to at least watch my portion control for the time right now. Starting next week, I am going to attempt to start the exercising and snacking between meals. Of course with carrots, or granola...lol STAY AWAY FROM DONETTES!!!!! lol
