I'm a librarian living in NYC, but originally from the south. I've usually been a very active person physically, but over the past few years have found myself in a slump. So I've joined this site to work towards a healthy body and soul, and to get back into my active hobbies - hiking, camping, bicycling, scuba-diving, (attempting) surfing, etc. I also want to keep myself motivated in getting my diabetes stable.
